WHAT IS MY CVN NUMBER?

The Card Verification Number (CVN) is an extra code printed on your debit or credit card. CVN for Visa, MasterCard, BankCard and Diners is the final three digits of the number printed on the signature strip on the back of your card.

CVN for American Express appears as a separate 4-digit code printed on the front of your card.

As the CVN is not embossed (like the card number) the CVN is not printed on any receipts, hence it is not likely to be known by anyone other than the card owner.

CVN is an anti-fraud measure being introduced by credit card companies worldwide. You are required to enter the CVN each time a payment is made and you are not present to sign a receipt, as for on-line transactions. We ask you to fill out the CVN here to verify that you actually hold the card you are using for this transaction, and to avoid anyone other than you from shopping with your card number. All information you submit is transferred over secure SSL connections.

* The name of this code differs per card company. You may also know it as the Card Verification Code (CVC), the Card Security Code or the Personal Security Code. All names cover the same type of information.

Fortified Wine Half Bottles | Browse Huge Sticky Range

Fortified wine or 'stickies' are either loved or hated - often because they are not presented in the right situations - and the over sweet weet wine sold in abundance a couple of decades ago didn't help the sticky reputation. Most fortified white wine is made from riesling or semillon but are available in nearly all grape varieties. In the right place, stickies are a fantastic compliment to a meal - think of fine cheeses and a great sticky - brilliant!

Niepoort Late-Bottled Vintage Port

  2009
375mL

Late Bottled Vintage Port is a from a single year, aged for 4-6 years in old oak casks (opposed to Vintage thatages 2-3). LBV fills the gap between the rubies and the vintage ports since a Ruby Port should be drunk quite young and a great Vintage Port may need 15 to 20 years to really open up and show its splendour. Unfiltered, with very good concentration and tons of spice. Will develop beautifully over several years.

Rebholz Gewurztraminer Spatlese

Rebholz is a man of few words yet his wines are like tomes. So dense, so complex and take years and years to unwind and show all they have to offer. These are bone dry and very complex wines that always will crush Clos St Hune, which for some inexplicable reason people bow down to as the greatest dry riesling in the world.

Toro Albala Don PX

  2008
375mL

At first glance this is a sweet-toothed wine, with strong sweetness typical for grapes at the vineyards of the PX. The palate is extensive, full of sensations and satisfying pleasure. It is long-finishing, greasy, and persistent. It remains bitter and lightly astringent to the palate giving balance with the flavour of raisins, honey and dates.

375mL

50 years since the first release of the Noble Riesling in 1962 and the wine continues to impress. The 2008 Noble Riesling has a bright, rich golden yellow colour. The nose has fresh lifted aromatics and classic botrytis characters like quince, butterscotch, honey, orange marmalade and citrus. All these aromas follow through to the palate which is concentrated and complex with a silky mouth feel. The high natural acidity balances the residual sweetness to provide a refreshingly clean finish.

Chateau Carmes de Rieussec Sauternes

  2010

A good, sweet, honeyed pineapple fruit, with a lovely strength of aromatics. Quite pure, broad and textured. Not bright or especially elegant, but certainly fresh, with lovely vanilla tones and a nice sweetness. Nicely defined finish. Potentially a very good wine.

Chateau Guiraud Petit Guiraud

  2011
375mL

Petit Guiraud is a modern Sauternes made by Xavier Planty, a co-owner and Château Guiraud’s oenologist since 1982. It is made partly from batches that have been fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and partly from batches fermented in new French oak barrels, which provide and restore freshness and minerality to the wine. This perfect balance, which results in an extremely refined sweetness, is given extra freshness by a high proportion of Sauvignon.

Framingham Noble Riesling

  2015
375mL

Intense and powerful wine with plenty of honeyed botrytis character.

Very sweet but not at all cloying thanks to bright acidity. Botrytis characters dominate although citrus and stone fruit varietal flavours are still evident.

A very impressive and luscious sweet wine.
