WHAT IS MY CVN NUMBER?

The Card Verification Number (CVN) is an extra code printed on your debit or credit card. CVN for Visa, MasterCard, BankCard and Diners is the final three digits of the number printed on the signature strip on the back of your card.

CVN for American Express appears as a separate 4-digit code printed on the front of your card.

As the CVN is not embossed (like the card number) the CVN is not printed on any receipts, hence it is not likely to be known by anyone other than the card owner.

CVN is an anti-fraud measure being introduced by credit card companies worldwide. You are required to enter the CVN each time a payment is made and you are not present to sign a receipt, as for on-line transactions. We ask you to fill out the CVN here to verify that you actually hold the card you are using for this transaction, and to avoid anyone other than you from shopping with your card number. All information you submit is transferred over secure SSL connections.

* The name of this code differs per card company. You may also know it as the Card Verification Code (CVC), the Card Security Code or the Personal Security Code. All names cover the same type of information.

Grenaudiere Muscadet Sevre et Maine Sur Lie

  2014
375mL

This delightlful “frog” Muscadet is happiest in its native habitat—close to the sea, where La Grenaudiere’s older vines are grown.  It’s both lobster-rich and citrus-fresh, with loads of juicy and energy in between.  Green apple and lime zest mix with Moroccan preserved lemons on the zesty nose; the mouth is clean, crisp and refreshing, with more citrus zest and sea salt touches.  The finish lingers with hints of white pepper and chalky freshness.  There is nothing that this food-flexible wine can’t play well with—bring on the oysters, break out the backyard barbecue, or just pop the cork with friends.

Pascal et Nicolas Reverdy Sancerre

  2014
375mL

The nose has a aromatically heady style, all peach and rosemary. In the palate this dry wine has a remarkable panoply of rich flavours, suggestive of honey, beeswax and minerals. Lots of grip underneath it all too, and a brilliant definition despite the wines alcohol-based structure. Great polished-stone style.

A wine with excellent character!

Grande Maison Monbazillac 'Cuvee des Anges'

  2010
375mL

Thierry Depres offers a sensational value and introductory opportunity by bottling his 2010 Monbazillac ‘Cuvée des Anges’ of Semillon, Sauvignon, and Muscadelle, organically grown and selectively harvested like all of his wines, but seeing no oak. Toasted brioche, musk, white truffle, gardenia, honey and candied citrus rind waft from a glass of this self-styled angelic cuvée. The long finish is only very subtly sweet, with chalk, bitter-sweet candied citrus, and musky, meaty notes. 92 Points Robert Parker

Serge Dagueneau Pouilly Fume

  2014
375mL

A dry white wine with fruity aromas (exotic fruit, passion fruit, citrus), smoky notes (flint stone) and floral nuances (broom, boxwood, blackcurrant buds). It reaches its aromatic peak quite young, at 2 to 5 years and becomes unctuous as it ages. Pouilly-Fumé is served at 10-12°C.

This wine is ideal as an aperitif but also a wonderful match with shellfish, fish (in sauce or grilled), white meat, roasted poultry and cheese.

Denis Pommier Beauroy 1er Cru Chablis

  2014
375mL

Denis Pommier Beauroy 1er Cru Chablis has subtle wood that is not intrusive though neither is it subtle as it fights somewhat with the notably ripe and mildly exotic aromas of peach, apricot and pear that also display nuances of honey and shellfish.

The medium bodied flavors are exceptionally rich, round and plush with a sappy texture that coats the palate on the long finish.
