WHAT IS MY CVN NUMBER?

The Card Verification Number (CVN) is an extra code printed on your debit or credit card. CVN for Visa, MasterCard, BankCard and Diners is the final three digits of the number printed on the signature strip on the back of your card.

CVN for American Express appears as a separate 4-digit code printed on the front of your card.

As the CVN is not embossed (like the card number) the CVN is not printed on any receipts, hence it is not likely to be known by anyone other than the card owner.

CVN is an anti-fraud measure being introduced by credit card companies worldwide. You are required to enter the CVN each time a payment is made and you are not present to sign a receipt, as for on-line transactions. We ask you to fill out the CVN here to verify that you actually hold the card you are using for this transaction, and to avoid anyone other than you from shopping with your card number. All information you submit is transferred over secure SSL connections.

* The name of this code differs per card company. You may also know it as the Card Verification Code (CVC), the Card Security Code or the Personal Security Code. All names cover the same type of information.

Vincent Gaudry Sancerre Le Tournebride

  2013
375mL

Vincent Gaudry uses fruit from all three soils types in Sancerre--chalk, silex and clay-limestone marl--to make Le Tournebride, a rarirty for the region, and a boon to this wine. The chalky soils contribute perfumy grapefruit and lime notes, while the silex adds a smoky mineral dimension and the clay-limestone marls give weight and structure. The result, a wonderfully complete representation of all that Sancerre has to offer: fruit, mineral and substance.

Domaine Yves Cuilleron St Joseph 'Lyseras' Marsanne/Rousanne

  2016
375mL

LIMITED!!!

It has yellow pear skin colour quite a full yellow robe. The nose is quietly full, beautifully fresh, comes with a peach, ripe nectarine. The palate is most enjoyable, savoury and stylish, with tender flavours of white peach and white plum. There is a fine freshness, and it is very shapely, a real winner. There is a delicacy on the finish that heightens its charm. This is tremendous wine.

Yves Cuilleron Saint Joseph La Lombard

  2014

Lombard is sourced from vines near to the Cuilleron winery in Chavanay, where the Condrieu vineyards reluctantly cede to those of St Joseph. The soil does not lack for granite, however, and its aspect is suitably precarious.

From selected botrytised grapes – wood aged – very fresh and will keep very well though drinking brilliantly now. Rich luscious and long finishing fresh. Huet Le Haut Lieu Moelleux Vouvray

  2005
375mL

This is a bargain from what most Loire lovers consider one of the great vintages of recent times. Whilst 2005 is not a great botrytis year, the concentrated and minerally Moelleux could be excellent thanks to the dry, warm conditions at harvest.

Baumard Quarts de Chaume

  2009
375mL

Chenin Blanc, sweet wine. High-pitched aromas of lemon, green apple and nectarine, with a floral honey quality that gains strength in the glass. Plump orchard and pit fruit nectar flavors are underscored by tangy citrus and mineral notes that buffer the sweetness and add verve. Plenty sweet but the underlying minerality contributes refreshing cut and extends the floral-dominated finish. I really like this wine’s blend of sweetness and vivacity
